The course is a mix of theory and skills practice, honing in on critical thinking, quick decision making, and working with a team. Communication skills and interpersonal skills are incredibly important for a CNA, which is why this course places a heavy focus on them.

Students enrolling in this course will learn content to prepare them to begin a career in the healthcare field. By attending this course, you will learn the skills needed to work closely with your patients and residents by providing them with the care they need and deserve. Some of these skills include:

  • Recording input and output (I&O)
  • Height and weight
  • Charting in an electronic health record (EHR)

This is a live course held in the classroom. The course is completed over a total of 6 days. There are 4 classroom and 2lab days. All items needed to complete the course are included in the tuition. Classroom sizes are small so that we can provide you with the attention needed to help build your confidence before your certification.
