Students enrolling in this review will be joining the theory portion of the hybrid remediation approved by the Florida Board of Nursing. This course covers:
- Exam preparation
- Professional standards in nursing
- Foundations of care
- Growth and development across the lifespan
- Maternity nursing
- Pediatric nursing
- Body systems
- Body system disorders
- Mental health disorders
- Pharmacology
- Dosage and Calculation
- Concepts such as: ABGs, lab values, blood type and crossmatch, and more
*All student resources are provided in tuition. The course does not require clinical. Class days are Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6pm-9pm for 3 weeks (18 hours).
**This course does not satisfy the requirements of a remediation mandated by the Florida Board of Nursing. Please see the remedial course if you are mandated by the Board.
