Students enrolling in this review will be joining the theory portion of the remediation approved by the Florida Board of Nursing. This course covers:
- Exam preparation
- Professional standards in nursing
- Foundations of care
- Growth and development across the lifespan
- Maternity nursing
- Pediatric nursing
- Body systems
- Body system disorders
- Mental health disorders
- Pharmacology
- Dosage and Calculation
- Concepts such as: ABGs, lab values, blood type and crossmatch, and more
*All student resources are provided in tuition. The course does not require clinical. Class days are Monday and Tuesday 8am-4pm for 5 weeks (10 days)
**This course does not satisfy the requirements of a remediation mandated by the Florida Board of Nursing. Please see the following course if you are required by the board to take a review/remediation.
Theory Days: September 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th; October 2nd, 3rd, and 9th (8am-4pm EST)
