Have you graduated nursing school and feel you need a little more? Or have you been away from the bedside for a while and want to get back to what you love? We want to help you.

Working in the healthcare field can be exciting and frightening. Especially if you do not feel like you have the experience you need. This class is conducted over 4 hours in the classroom and teaches you common nursing skills needed to work in the field. These skills include, but are not limited to:

  • Trach care
  • Trach suctioning
  • Meds through a percutaneous gastrostomy (PEG) tube
  • Insertion of a Foley catheter male/female
  • Subcutaneous injections
  • Insulin administration
  • Chest tube care
  • Central venous catheter (CVC) dressing change
  • Proper restraint application
  • Donning sterile gloves
  • IV spike and prime
  • and many more
