NCLEX Review (RN & PN)

NCLEX Review

Even after completing nursing school, passing the NCLEX can be challenging. If it’s been a while since you completed nursing school, you may feel even more unprepared. Aceso is here to help. Whether you’re a graduate registered nurse or graduate practical nurse, our NCLEX Review Courses help better prepare you to take the NCLEX. Our review courses cover material found on the NCLEX and arms you with the knowledge you need for test day.

What Is the NCLEX?

NCLEX stands for National Council Licensure Examination, and it’s a requirement for becoming a licensed nurse in all 50 states. If you don’t pass this exam, you can’t earn your nursing license and legally practice nursing. Pearson VUE administers the NCLEX-RN for prospective registered nurses and the NCLEX-PN for prospective licensed practical nurses, but the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is the governing body responsible for making any changes to the exam. Aceso can help you pass your licensure exam with our comprehensive NCLEX Review. Our NCLEX prep courses prepare you to take either exam, whether it’s your first attempt or you’ve been unsuccessful.

How the NCLEX Works

The NCLEX is divided into four primary areas, including psychosocial and physiological integrity, health promotion and maintenance and safe and effective care environment provision. These main categories break down further into specific topics. The exact distribution of content on the exam can vary since the test adapts to your performance.

The NCLEX utilizes computerized adaptive testing, meaning it tailors questions to meet each test taker’s aptitudes and determine the scoring process. When the computer analysis system reaches 95% certainty that the person taking the test has either passed or failed, it stops asking questions. NCLEX results are presented on a pass or fail basis.

Preparing for the NCLEX is something every nursing student should take seriously. It’s not a simple test with easy true or false questions. The NCLEX includes multiple-choice, ordered response, fill-in-the-blank and/or hot spot questions. It’s a comprehensive exam that extensively tests your knowledge and assessment skills.

Why You Should Review

Although nursing instructors prepare nursing students for the test throughout their years of schooling, it’s still strongly recommended that any prospective nurse utilize a post-school program to further prepare for the NCLEX. There are numerous NCLEX prep and review courses available, but Aceso’s classes are designed by nurses, for nurses. You can count on receiving a high-quality education led by our extensively trained professionals. We maximize your NCLEX preparation with pertinent practice questions and study guides.

Get Expert Assistance at Aceso

Whether you need a review or a remediation, Aceso can help. Aceso’s NCLEX Review is strictly a review of what can be included on the exam. It’s an ideal course for those needing some extra prep. However, unlike our remediation course, the review doesn’t satisfy the requirements of a remedial program mandated by the Florida Board of Nursing because it doesn’t include a clinical experience. We do offer an NCLEX Review and Remediation Course that does satisfy mandated remediation and is a Florida Board of Nursing-approved remedial course. Anyone who fails the NCLEX three times must take a remedial course before attempting the exam again, but anyone wanting to brush up their skills can join.. Increase your odds of receiving a passing score with Aceso.
